Bazaar Triumphs in Contest for Least Appealing Cover Ever
It was only the other day we mused about a cover whose words were a turnoff. Now comes its counterpart, a cover whose picture is so squirm-inducing it makes us not want to open (or even touch) the thing.
Paris and Nicole both? And their dogs? How can that even be remotely necessary? Just looking at their smarmy grins makes us want to shower with steel wool.

Hideous, isn't it. Both these women seem so 'yesterday's news.' The cover is so ugly too... the black and white and orange is jarring and makes them look hard and cold. I keep hoping that they will finally fall out of favor, but it never seems to happen.
I'm sure it will sell huge though... sigh.

You're right, it probably will do massive newsstand--everyone wants a commemorative "Paris goes to jail" souvenir!

I'm agreeing with caro here. Like, how long are these girls going to last? Who in the world is even remotely still interested?

Dogs are cute, bitches are not. And what's with the fingerless gloves?! That's so 2009, or ... probabaly not.

Haha! "Impressively ugly" is a great way to describe it.
And Emily, that cover is outstanding. Jail hell, indeed!

I posted similar thoughts today on my blog, and every comment agreed with yours: this cover is truly dreadful. Keep up the gd work glossed over.
